Chapter One:
let go of maintaining control. you don't have to be in control of your emotions all the time.don't need to maintain appearances in front of others. instead of maintaining, open yourself up to experiencing. experiencing that person, that thing, that moment, that joy. don't live for the moment, live IN the moment. this moment. let go of the control of it and allow yourself to just feel. bask in the feel of now. this moment. Right. Now. the beauty that is you. that is around you. that is your life. only for this moment, experience the joy in the beauty that is this moment. and love it. and cherish it. for being only what it is. Right Now. Minutes are made up of these moments. these moments are what make up time, what make up life. life is but an endless experience of the beauty that is each moment. revel in it. this joy. of THIS moment.don't control it. experience it. let it be. freely given to you. a gift of a beautiful moment of bottomless joy. i dedicate my life to living in the beauty that is now and the joy it brings me to share it with all who are in it.

in the m&m factory, there is a giant machine. this machine is what they use to create the different colors on all of the m&m's. everytime they invent a new color, they add a nozzle on to this machine and it is then capable of producing m&m's in the new color. once the factory has a new color added to the machine, there is no way for it to NOT produce that color of m&m. the powers that be at the M&M factory decided to hire a specific type of worker to deal with this problem.these workers eat the m&m' colored in colrs not wanted in certain bags. each worker is in charge of eating only their specificly designated color. so, in spring, they bring over the workers that eat all the non-pastel m&ms and line them up along the conveyor belt, each person to each primary color. and as the m&m coor machine produces it's rainbow of m&m's, they pick them up and eat the unwanted colors.
every once in a while, the machine produces those living m&m's you see on tv. it's the nature of big machines to develop a mind of their own and as it evolves into a more complex machine, it produces more complex m&m's. some, the company keeps and trains them like monkeys for advertisement purposes. but most, they don't need. this is where the special feature of the m&m eating employees comes in handy, because they have been evolving too. whenthey see living m&m's squirming on the conveyor belt, their eyes light up and the metamorphisis begins. their jaws develop rows of razor sharp teeth and their jawbones lengthen and unhinge. their snouts elongate and develop a distinctly pig like appearance and all humanity disappears from their beady little eyes. they snatch the living m&m's off the conveyor belt with razor sharp claws and a drooling glee and toss back their fliptop lids and toss those poor little steps in m&m evolution down thier gullets in one bite, never even more than a squeal escaping fromt he helpless newborn candies. the moment is gone
the normal everyday m&m's appear out of the massive color machine. the monsterous employees slowly change back into normal chocolate eating workers, and the guards surrounding them on the catwalk with machine guns relax just a tiny bit.
sometimes, i just want to eat m&m's for a living...

under my sink, that is. well, maybe it's not quite a lagoon since there is only a large serving bowl under there that collects water from a leak in the pipe. usually i am a little better about remembering to empty out the bowl regularly but it's been a while. fortunately, or unfortunately, it decided to remind me of it's presence with a god awful smell in my kitchen. it took a coupl of days to figure out where the smell was coming from but when i opened the cabinet door, it hit me with a jab to the left before i could even reach for it. the water in that bowl had taken on a life of it's own. it was as black as the bowls of hell and smelled like it had dragged it's rotting carcass into that space over centuries of hate. i braced myself to reach in there and grab the bowl with its fowl smelling beast to take it outside into the light of day and kill it with clean air, but the creature under my sink had different ideas.as i reached out to grab it, it spit poisonous venom at me, trying to eat its way through my skin but only managing to mangle the rubber gloves i was wearing. i grabbed the apple vinegar beside it in a desperate attempt to thwart its attempts at freedom. i opened the bottle and dowsed it's foul stench with vinigar, shocking it into stillness. i took advantage of it's stunned state and raced it outside, where i threw it with all my might into the alley behind my house, grimacing at its screaching the entire time it flew throught the air to hit the pavement with a satisfying thud. next time, i'm bringing in reinforcements.

tired of execx micromanaging thier management team? owner of the company won't retire and put you in charge like he keeps promising? is your boss saying your in charge and hamstringing all your employee decisions? is the old fucker full of decades of useful information but hampering your attemps to make the workplace more efficiently run with his old fashioned ways?
me too!my boss is great at talking about how the company needs better communication with the management staff and then turning around and changing orders wothout informing the staff of the changes and without checking first. he's also pretty good about repeating the same to over to each of us individually as if we didn't just hear what he told the first person. he's good at wasting your day when you have all sorts of things to get done by making you lfollow him around the shop and have you explain everything you need to do.
so i went and got all creative in the work shop today. and i have a brand new box. it's the perfect size for my boss. in fact, i already put him in it. it's sound proof enough that when the lid is closed, i can't hear my boss. but it has an easy open lid so that when i need information on why something didn't work good, i can trot him out to give me information to fix the situation and then put him away when i've learned that piece of information. no more wasted minutes listening to him talk about how important he is and how he's done all these different things over his lifetime, just to get one scrap of information about gating wax. no more 50 billion changes in protocol without before hand knowledge. when he starts reminicing, back in the box. until next time.
