"Life is development. To achieve this, climb high mountains and descend into the deepest valleys of your soul. Breathe in and feel that you are sucking in everything that exists in heaven and earth. Breathe out and feel that the air leaving your body carries the seed of fertility, and will make humanity more true, better, and more beautiful." ~ Paulo Coelho

Word to the wise: Do not mess with this woman. She asks the hard questions and has the analytical mind ready to dissect your dearest, closest beliefs. She knows more about what you're thinking than you do. I am *very* proud to call her my friend and peer.

Petra is the Bindi Goddess! I can't believe how much thought and artistry she puts into each one. What an artist! Everything she does is amazing and original; it is definitely not you're average card stock of bindis. Nobody does it better than Petra.

about me
I have studied Bellydance since 1994. Currently, my favorite style is Tribal Fusion.
Some of my Favorite Things: Making all kinds of Art; Sewing; Girly things like perfume, jewelry & bubblebaths; Hibiscus Flowers and Daffodils; Palm Trees and Sunny Beaches; Hanging out with the bellydance community; Learning about Different Cultures; Lifelong Learning about EVERYTHING! I have been a Vegetarian since 1992, for Animal Rights and health-related reasons, as well as spiritual reasons. I love cats and I volunteer with a Cat Rescue organization. I love to be creative, challenged intelectually and I love to learn. If I'm not any of those things, I am probably bored. I believe that knowledge gives you the power to set yourself free.

About 4 years ago I was reeeaaaallllyyyy broke. I had $7 to my name and it was still several days before payday. On my way home from work one day, my vehicle ran out of gas at a stoplight. I was soooo embarassed and me and this other woman who was in the car behind me pushed it off the road. I walked about a mile to the nearest gas station to borrow a gas can - but they required a $7 deposit on the can! I couldn't afford to put gas in it. I explained my situation to the attendan... read more

This evening I stopped at Mud Bay Granary, a local pet supply store, to get cat food and litter. There was a man there holding a tiny little kitten. Of course I said, "Awwwww...." and the man said the kitten had had a rough week and moved his arm aside so I could see the huge row of stitches along the kitten's body. The man explained that he had been driving down the road and seen this kitten who had been hit by a car, lying in the road. He couldn... read more
