I am almost halfway through summer term at PCC. I haven't been in school in 23 years. I am taking 12 credit hours. I was just handed back my first essay in Creative Writing. I received an A! Not bad for my first essay in over two decades. I have mid-terms starting next week. Hopefully everything else will go as smoothly.

Well I am in much better spirits today! I spent time with a friend this afternoon. Had a fantastic time with my son and daughter at dinner tonight. We all had a very nice time and laughed. I can't imagine how down in the dumps I was over this past weekend. I sometimes lose sight of what is most important. The kids and I are going to find some sort of trashy tv show to watch!

My roommate and I went to see Thomas Dolby at the Aladdin Theatre tonight! It was fantastic! He played all of his well known hits. It was a wonderful show. He was very sweet and humble. I've loved him since I was a young'un. It was a fun evening.

I fell down the stairs in my home this morning. Head over heels....I ended up going to urgent care. Lots of soft tissue damage, huge fat lip and carpet burns down the side of my face. I am pretty sore! It could have been much worse. I can't run for a few days...I can't eat much either because of my banged up mouth!
