about me
I have been dancing since I was 5 years old, though not able to find classes for a very long time I just kept practiceing what I knew. I am so thrilled that belly dancing has become so popular over the last several years and that classes and instructional videos are so much easier to find...... I do love that there is no end to the learning with this art. You will never know everything, lol, and there is always room to improve and expand your knowledge.
I moved from Panama City to a very tiny town in South GA a few years ago, and have been just bummed that there was no one to share my interest with..... I couldn't have paid someone to let me teach them, lol, much less get a class started! But a young lady has opened a massage/spa business with Yoga classes and now I teach there.... Can it get any better?! 8)

Re: On chest lifts and chest circles.
(in Bellydance Drills and Choreography)
When I teach people how to do shoulder and rib isolations the first time, I have them sit on the floor "indian style" which puts the pelvis in the right place and plants the hips in the floor so they don't move....

Woot Woot! For anyone who likes to read, those True Blood is based on Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire novels (AKA The Vampire Bill books) I can't wait to see the series!
