about me
I'm a passionate person that loves life. Right now I live in South Lake Tahoe, a big move from Humboldt. I've lived in California most of my life, except when I tried to live in Mass. for 9 months. I love my Rainbow Gathering family and all of the beautiful people I've met along this trippy ride of life.

Emerald pools (blog entry) Ryan and I went to an absolutely beautiful place where there is a small gorge with emerald green water. Some friends put up a slack line over the water and people were jumping off of 90 ft cliffs. The rock climbing was great becasue you could free... read more

Luther's Pass Revisited (blog entry) Since I was robbed of a descent after my ride to Markleeville from spilling boiling water on my foot, I decided to ride back up Luther's Pass on Thursday. It's a bit of a tight shoulder with semi's barreling down on you and I'm looking forward to ... read more

New Beginnings (blog entry) Working at a popular restaurant has its unusual advantages. I've seen Mellanie Williams, my favorite professor from Humboldt, my mom's highschool best friend, a babysitter from when I was 4, and a babysitter from when I was 7. So trippy.

South Lake Tahoe Safe From Fire! (blog entry) So, the scare is long over and our town is okay. The fire took out over 200 homes and burned a pretty area, but no one died. You can't see the area that was burned from the road and hopefully it will grow back soon. The fire danger is so big becau... read more

Ryan and I went to an absolutely beautiful place where there is a small gorge with emerald green water. Some friends put up a slack line over the water and people were jumping off of 90 ft cliffs. The rock climbing was great becasue you could free solo over the water. After swimming and playing we went out to dinner and then to the Midnite show at the Truckee Outdoor Amphitheater. Excellent show!

Since I was robbed of a descent after my ride to Markleeville from spilling boiling water on my foot, I decided to ride back up Luther's Pass on Thursday. It's a bit of a tight shoulder with semi's barreling down on you and I'm looking forward to riding this back way that I've been told about. I'm really itching to go on a camping trip soon with my bike. I've been working so much that I haven't really been taking time out to go on cycling trips.

I highly recommend seeing this show outdoors as we did last night, very magical. Jazz reunited with its African origins.

I'm moving into my very own studio cabin on the first of August and I'll be taking the test to become a substitute teacher mid August. I've decided to become an independent adult! I'm also training for a triathalon in September. Watch out!

So, the scare is long over and our town is okay. The fire took out over 200 homes and burned a pretty area, but no one died. You can't see the area that was burned from the road and hopefully it will grow back soon. The fire danger is so big because of the drought and I'm sure that this summer is going to be a big one for wildfires.
