Shiny Happy People ( Meet Me In The Crowd )

So where's this all going ? Fukushima biding it's time until entropy finishes what poor planning and a tsunami started. World economists like doctors in palliative care standing over a bed ridden patient slipping into unconsciousness and doing the death rattle while tensions in the Middle East remain ever high. You sense an ever growing confluence in the time line as smaller seemingly unconnected tributaries of turmoil join the main current and we rush towards something truly frightening. The Sword Of Damocies doth truly hang over our heads. I do wonder though............ if individuals can " Quantum Jump ", then is it possible for all of us collectively to jump to another time line away from what is coming. Never in the history of human kind have so many people been connected to current events and one another. If Carl Jung got it right then we always were connected by our subconscious minds and now mainstream media along with social media are assaulting our collective thoughts daily with fear. Is it possible that social and mainstream media are Super Charging this " Jungian Process " with their daily diet of fear..............that we are creating this dark reality that seems unstoppable because it is a self feeding process life a raging forest fire creates convective currents that draw the flames forward unburnt fuel in front of it. I have speculated on this theory in a previous blog and find myself revisiting this notion again. If the Laws Of Attraction and our collective conscious as well as subconscious are the underpinnings of reality then we may very well have a template to start moving away from what might seem inevitable. We need to stop praying to God because he/she will not save us from this mess. We have to grow up and take responsiblity or me may certainly all perish. Dark clouds are forming on the horizon but the optimist calming says, " Just For A Moment......... Open Your Mind, Just For A Moment.......... See The World As I See It. " - Mikademus

You know, that's funny because my mom just brought that up today.

Our government has been non-stop talking about a shut down and constantly displaying the fears of what will happen if they shut down. Today they announced that a shut down will take place. My mom said "Who cares"... she goes on to explaining that the media and the government like to press fear into peoples lives over and over again. They seem to want to keep people in a constant state of stress and fear. They always talk about pink slips and people losing jobs, the country going to war.. but they hype it up and then someone come out to say.. "just kidding!" They end up finding the money to stay active, they find a way to not go to war and then they find a way to have people keep their jobs. Sure they do often lose their jobs but not in the drastic and amounts of lost jobs that they portray. It's always a circus act.

I'm at the point now where I will listen.. but I won't let it affect me. I will go on with my life and live it as planned or as it comes to me, either way. I will keep in mind that these circus acts are going on behind me but I won't let them take the joy out of feeling the warmth of the sun, hearing the birds sing, seeing the smiles on my parents faces when I cook a good meal haha

Politics love power, leaders love the attention. They will stir what they will to get what they want. They are often times, like bullies. At first, you play along even though you're not aware that you're playing their game. Yelling at them, telling them to stop bullying you, it only feeds them. Until one day you learn, you are only instigating by being a part of their world. When you start ignoring them, you start leaving their Universe and entering your own. The world that truly matters if the one where you are loved, its the one where you are at peace. Don't pity them for the games they play, they are enjoying themselves. It's only fair for you to also find enjoyment in the things you love.

Mani I know how you feel but try not to be over whelmed by this media world we live in.
Try to do as Meeko says and hold your values more closely and the rantings of media and politics push that farther from your mind.

Meeko has said it like it is, and said it so eloquently.
Follow her approach and put this big and complex world into perspective, with your work mates, neighbors, friends, family and your self the main focus of your energy.

A Friend's Wisdom
I value your opinions, both of you. There is wisdom in your words cuz when you live in constant fear you cannot grow spiritually. " Arrested Growth ", and in that lies the paradox. If you shut it out completely you are apathetic and cannot effect change in this world but if you open the flood gates you are overwhelmed and consumed by it. All things in moderation.......... including fear.

I think we have to rationalize the world in our minds, so that we can temper our emotions in order to live an effective and positive life, empowering our selves to do good for others in our communities.

I think spirituality is about feeling and experiencing the true nature of things from a human perspective, be they a landscape, a person, or even war! Spitiuality is your approach or your way of thinking about things. If you are frightened, if you have too much fear the danger is that it will consume your energies and will dominate your emotional response to all that you experience.

A balance is what we are seeking, a balance of our emotions, in order to empower our selves, in order to live out our life purpose. So if we see that a news flash about something we do not personally have control over, instills fear in our hearts, we must act to prevent this fear from taking over.

In the end we make choices, we choose how to live our lives, what to do and what not to do. It may be the case that we want to fight injustice or protect the planet against pollution or look after our children or tend our garden? Which ever it is we should be able to do it with spiritual awareness.

I personally know what I am trying to achieve so I focus my attention on that and I know I do not have the time and energy to do other things, because I have made choices. So if I see young men killing each other in Syria, I feel sadness and I think they are victims of bad leaders and unfortunate historical circumstances. I know I could drop every thing in my life and go join the red cross to try to help in some way but that is not the path I have chosen, my goals and aims are good for people, I am doing something constructive and I cannot do more.

I realize I have a good reason to do what I am doing, I therefore have a clear continence.
Also all the things I am not doing make me think I have a duty to do well and to put the best energy and effort into that one thing I have chosen.

I hope sharing my personal view is helpful to you, in the end I know it is personal and we all have different ways of doing things, and I wish you well in figuring out your path.

I sometimes like to step outside of a situation or moment and think... wow.. I love these people. I love where I'm at right now. I love doing what I'm doing right at this moment and being privileged to have these people in my life. I just felt that right now as I read both of your comments. You guys are so bright, I can see your light shine across all the way to where I'm sitting.

Beautiful, hardly does it justice.

And I love this song! I've had it stuck in my head now since you posted it! hahaha!!!
