about me
Forgive me if I go a little Carl Sagan here but as Simon from American Idol likes to answer his critics "It's who I am!". We live in truly amazing times. Our science based technologies have advanced our understanding of our world more in the last few years than the 50,000 years preceding it that paleolithic man first stepped into the light. When the Hubble Telescope was fitted with reading glasses and turned on it was eventually pointed at one of the most bleakest areas of the sky . The astronomers could only stare in awe. Layer upon layer of spiral galaxies fading into eternity! To view the picture is something of a spiritual event. God is in the details! Our western based culture views science and metaphysics as two separate worlds but the reality is they overlap, they are interwoven. To deny metaphysics is to deny part of nature. It is in this subtle, sublime overlapping region that you will find me. It is here that I reside!

From a young age though I didn't realize I was probably wielding undue influence on people and events around me, it wasn't until my sixteenth year that I became consciously aware of this gift. My awakening, as it were and have since spent my life quietly observing the connections between people and events that are hidden from most people that have let their inner sight fade and entropy. Pity..... just as having a canine's scent gland would open our minds to the real world of airborne messages...

There have been numerous documented cases of so the so called collective human subconciousness manifesting destiny. Two of my favorite examples remain Charlie Chaplin being paged in dozens of hotels simultaneously across America in the early twentieth century even though he was present in none and the drawing of numbers that were all permutations of "911" from the New York State Lottery" one year to the day of the Trade Centre Attacks. Both events are thought to have been caused by large gro...

Our country's name is a corruption of he Huron/Iroquolian word "Kanata" which means vlllage. An obscure Baptist Minister from Weyburn, Saskatchewan left his first career in the service of Christianity to pursue a career in provincial politics and went on to create social policies that have become models around the world. Owing to a coal miner strike in Estevan that became deadly when the police attacked peaceful protesters leaving injured and dead people in the streets, Tommy Douglas and memb...

A town in our province of Saskatchewan named Biggar is the home of the North American record for points on a White Tailed Buck. It has held the title for a number of years but the title may be coming to an end as there is word coming out of Wisconsin that a challenger may be at hand. I don't judge people who are self sufficient and provide for themselves off the land but it is very sad to me that this animal is going to die for someone's vanity and because he is such a magnificent creature....

During my mate's child bearing years she had undergone four "C Sections owing to how difficult her first attempted labour was. She had put on considerable weight in the wake of our fourth child and the doctor was concerned as she was showing signs of early heart disease and he warned her that she was a prime candidate for a heart attack. The doctor also suspected that she had considerable abdominal fibrosis or scar tissue but if she wanted to have her abdominal area tucked she would have to ...
