My Testimonials

October 30, 2006
you might *think* that you are the puppet master, or that you may be able to fill the role, but I have learned: if you are not Elizabeth, then you are wrong.

I've felt so much charm and buoyant energy around this lady that I've been compelled to bounce even more (an impressive feat, I assure you) than I normally do.

Treasure this one as a good person. But as an entertaining person, not like a Mormon, or something.

Elizabeth is awesome.

We made her a genuine McLicker shortly after meeting her and we haven't done that in a long time. She is the real deal...genuine and cool.
Mayhap is tough and Elizabeth won her over at first meeting.

Completely funny, sweet, wild, and really just a great person. Such a great listener and talker if thats what you want. She's pretty much always there for anyone who needs her. Quite possibly the best, random, person to have in your car on a long ride.

Elizabeth is my girl. She's smart (just graduated with a BA *and* a BS with honors), fun, talkative (swallowed a dictionary as a child), and a fabulous friend. We've been through rolling pennies for beer, an eggroll, global warming, cheese, and back again. She's my yo.

about me
This is a testimonial about me from a long time ago. It still holds true, and is probably the best description of me.
"Elizabeth-don't call her Beth or Lizzy-is a total hottie. Like hot chocolate. She's warm and sweet, sometimes you have to let her cool down before partaking of her wit especially if she's been spiked. You may enjoy her the way she presents herself on the surface, or you can stir up all the thick concentrated stuff at the bottom for a real treat. You never know what cool new thing she's learned that she will want to share with you. She's smart, driven, sexy, funny, she sings beautifully, does cool stuff, looks great in a bodice, all in all Elizabeth is an incredible person. I'm glad she's my friend and my sister."
Really I am just great at feigning interest

My Blog

We are heading out of the house for the weekend.

For the past almost 3 months, we really haven't left the house. At least she hasn't, except for doctor visits and 2 supermarket ventures, oh and Thanksgiving. But really that isn't a lot. Most days I feel like it is almost too much of a hassle to go anywhere, in case she cries or needs to be fed - I am just not comfortable with breast feeding just anywhere.

But, now she is SO MUCH BIGGER, and I am totally used to her schedule now, so ... read more

I am SO PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just can't get over the amount of weird crap that your body can endure when an alien life latches onto your uterus. Daily I am amazed by the little marks, and dots, and fluids, and yellow stuff, and itchies....

But the amazing part is she plays games with me now. I tap my belly, and she kicks there. I tap 2 times, and she kicks 2 times. I love that.

No pictures yet, but I just moved, so we will take care of that soon.

Who wants belly shots... read more

It is a beautiful country... cold and windswept, the flowers all grow away from the wind, except for the bold flowers that think they can beat the forces of nature.

Ivy is so pervasive. Nearly every tree is covered by thick vines, and we have seen some trees that have been entirely uprooted by the weight of the ivy that has climbed to the top of the trunk, taking all the sunlight from the already crippled tree.

the people are fun, and keep to themselves mostly. We visited Cashel today... read more

If you didn't know, you should. I am British... My Mom was born and raised in Loughborough, Leicster. So, my sister and I are making a pilgrimage to our Mom's birthplace, with some side trips too.

I am leaving on Tuesday, March 6th, and we are both feeling a little exsistential about the whole thing. See, my mom died 3 years ago, and we have been missing her terribly, as I am sure you would imagine. So, this is sort of like a hommage to Mom.

It is super exciting to go somewhere wher... read more
