We are heading out of the house for the weekend.

For the past almost 3 months, we really haven't left the house. At least she hasn't, except for doctor visits and 2 supermarket ventures, oh and Thanksgiving. But really that isn't a lot. Most days I feel like it is almost too much of a hassle to go anywhere, in case she cries or needs to be fed - I am just not comfortable with breast feeding just anywhere.

But, now she is SO MUCH BIGGER, and I am totally used to her schedule now, so I have been venturing out a bit more in recent weeks. It is quite freeing to know that she won't just freak out, or if she does get fussy, I actually know what to do to calm her down.

So, this weekend is a weekend trip to visit my family - 150 miles away. It will be the first time she spent the night away from home since she was born - not to mention our first time too.

I am totally excited... bon voyage!
