about me
Been a while since I updated this puppy. So I'm just going to be lazy and copy and paste stuff from my Livejournal profile.
I'm Lupa (in case ya haven't figured that out). Moved to Portland earlier this year with my mate, Taylor Ellwood, with whom I share adventures and sorrows alike (but all wounds are healed). We share a home with Sun Ce the cat, and way too many books and art supplies.
I'm a published pagan/occult writer; I've been published in Sagewoman, newWitch, Circle and Konton magazines, among others, and I also contribute essays to Key23 and Witchvox.. My first book, Fang and Fur, Blood and Bone: A Primal Guide to Animal Magic, came out in 2006 from Immanion Press/Megalithica Books ( www.immanion-press.com). My current project is an introductory overview of the Otherkin subculture; just accepted by Immanion, the title is A Field Guide to Otherkin and it just came as of this past April.
My partner, Taylor Ellwood (teriel), is also an author; he cowrote Creating Magical Entities, and his independent works include Pop Culture Magick and Space/Time Magic, as well as his newest Inner Alchemy.
You can find out more about our books at our website, www.thegreenwolf.com, which also features a schedule of events where we'll be presenting workshops, signing books, and getting out and meeting people. We also have a resource site that doubles as a promotional site for our upcoming cowritten title, "Kink Magic: Sex Magic Beyond Vanilla" (November 2007)--you can see it at www.kinkmagic.com
And Taylor and I maintain the Pagan and Occult Author Resource Page, at www.thegreenwolf.com/poarp.html, which Taylor started back in 2004. Basically it's a collection of resources, essays, calls for writers and other things of interest to pagan and occult authors, whether you've got one book or twenty out, or if you're still fleshing out that manuscript. And we're always taking suggestions for resources, and essay contributions.
I'm also an artist; I work with everything from bones and fur to beads and bottle caps. I make a lot of magical/ritual tools, and I'm a big fan of recycling objects.
So that's me in brief. Questions? Feel free to ask :) Or check out the website at www.thegreenwolf.com

Don't ever tell me Llewellyn never puts out anything good any more--if I ever get around to making my list of Required Reading For the Pagan Community, this is going to be in there.
