Emily is a rising star whooshing through the universe at quantum speeds, She's an unflappable flapper, a heart throb trapper, and one hell of a lady to get to know. Every time I think I've figured her out, she flips another Ace outta her stacked deck of wonder, and I am blown away anew. This girl will go to bat for her friends, whether it involves grocery shopping, sick person mending, late night counseling, mohawk shaving and liberty spiking, or just plain hanging out and being brutally sincere, terrifyingly charming, and irrepressibly funny. In addition to all the above, she is glaringly competent at all things she undertakes.

In my vast armada of friends, Emily is on the lead ship with Becky and myself, charging ahead into God knows what uncharted waters. She is brilliant and loyal and a joy to be around, even when the chips are down. I am honored to count her as one of my bestest friends.

She is everything she says she is above and so much more. She'll make you the most skull-fucking margarita you've ever had and then toss her lil' head back and laugh when you grimace from the lack of mix. She'll finish your crossword puzzles for you when you can't see straight. She'll hold your hair back for you while you retch into the bushes.
