Elijah is one of the most talented, amazing, handsome, generous, kind people you could ever want to meet. There aren't many good-spirited people of his caliber anymore. A true kindred spirit. I know many people that would back him up in any situation, good or bad. I hope he realizes how many lives he's touched and how loved he and his family are.

New to Pennsic and the sca as a performer and person can be bewildering, daunting even....
This wonderful human accepted my confusion, helped me clarify it and to my mind, he and his performer siblings epitomize all that is magical and wonderful about the event. He and his fam, are warm generous inclusive people who will always have a place in my heart.
...and besides, anyone who is friend enuff to comfort whilst you're at yer worst behavior pukin in the woods and bemoanin fate, is a friend that deserves all the best that life and i in my meager abillity to aquire can give.

about me
I am a Performer within a family troupe of performers called "Clan Tynker". We (three sisters, two brothers, and one "brother in law")perform at Pennsic, at rennaissance faires, and a lot around our home state in various venues. Everything from city festivals to children birthday parties. people ask if like what we do, and I always say that it beats working!

A little short notice, I know, but if anyone is in the area of the catskills, have nothing planned for this weekend yet, and are looking for something to do that is FREE to the public, We are going to be performing at the "Vintage baseball" games in Roxbury, NY.
We had fun the last time we attended (a couple years ago) and the games are interesting in that they really play with the old rules of the early days. Things like, NO mitts, just bare handed catches! Ow....

We are wondering if there is anybody in the New York City Manhatten area who would be willing to put up with a pile of Tynkers crashing on their floor this weekend, Saturday and Sunday night? We take up little room and are VERY low maintenance....

Hey everyone, hope all is well!
My sister marygold had a cute little bouncing boy back in December. She named him Issac and he is a real joy. We're all aunts and uncles, can you believe it?
Marygold is probably not going to travel with us anymore performing as she desires to stay home and only perform at shows that are in New Mexico from now on. *sigh*
It was hard to accept at first, as I can't imagine ever not wanting to travel and perform. But, we all have different desires and needs....
