about me
Hooping has affected my life in every way as it has for so many. I was a yoga instructor for 8 years, but when I found HoopDance, I realized this was where I found my energy best spent. When I first got into hooping, I was very interested in the "dazzling" part of it, but I now find myself transfixed by its healing properties. I founded HoopDazzle in 2005 and have since taught hundreds of people how to get in their hoops and follow the path it unfolds for them. In 2007, I founded Hoop to Heal, a subsidiary comany of HoopDazzle that originally offered complimentary classes and workshops to women with breast cancer. It has since morphed into a class for anyone who feels the need for healing. I hope to help create a web of hoopdance teachers across the globe who wish to share the same sort of work in their area. I've been blown away at how many people I now see in their hoops in Bend...I love the way it builds community.

HoopDazzle also offers a variety of classes and workshops such as erotic hooping, chakra balancing, restorative hooping and fitness building.

The Hoop constantly unlocks a myriad of emotions and sensations. I am continuously humbled by it's power.

Memories of HoopCamp

Memories of my experience at this year’s Hoopcamp retreat in Santa Cruz are still swimming in and around my head like silver streams of light. I have found myself dreaming of hoop moves and then waking up wanting to jump into the hoop I left by my bedside table.

It took so much effort for all of us to converge. Nearly a hundred of us from around the globe…and when saw a fellow Hooper for the first time there, our eyes sparkled with unconditional care and respect... read more
