I'm a liberal independent from Vermont. I'm a huge alternative energy activist (or at least educationist...). I'm a hippy that walks around with a pin that says "Tree-hugging, Dirt-worshipper" on it. Yes, really.
I have two parents, one little sister, one cat, and a dying aloe plant...This is NoT my fault- aloe plants should be in the DESERT, not in frigid Boston!

I feel a bit like a BlackJack player who's waiting for the dealer to turn over their cards. Will they go bust, or will they bust me?
It's an interesting feeling, and one I'm starting to get used to, surprisingly enough. It's better than my initial freakout of 'oh-my-god-i'm-leaving-and-I-don't-know-what's-gonna-happen!', but it's not altogether pleasant. I've decided anticipation sucks, and that my head needs a break from being beaten against the brick wall of my own frustration.

And I have to go to a stupid company meeting tonight, which means nothing will get done tonight either! Guess I'll be up all night Thursday!

so, i'm stupid sometimes...
decided to cut open a bag of frozen peas w/ my brand new, ultra sharp ka-niffee, and damn near took the top of my finger off instead of the top of the bag.
OUCH!
luckily, i had the presence of mind to *set* the knife down & clamp my other hand over the wound as it started gushing. had to have my roommate rip strips from a towel i had, because (smart me) i left ALL of my gauze at home, because it's winter and *you don't use henna in the winter*. (which is...
