about me
Here's what I believe. The earth is the Goddess that created us out of her love of life and diversity, and her curiosity. Through all life on earth, She experiences everything that all living things experience every second of their lives, through every incarnation. Through this experience, she grows wiser and wiser, contributing to the spiritual growth of us all at the same time. This is a perpetuating cycle. The goddess inhabits each and every living thing on the planet. She is us and we are her. The one true rule of all life on this planet is, “What we do to other living things we do to ourselves.” I believe that the only true sin is cruelty on any level. Love is the opposite of Sin.

I refuse to eat any rare or endangered species (flora or fauna) or animals that were tortured before they were killed for food. I believe plants also have a consciousness that we are not all sophisticated enough to communicate with, yet, though some shamans/witches/herbalists have succeeded. It is not a sin to eat to nourish your body, to *maintain your temple. Reverence should be applied when consuming anything that once had life, whether it breathed, swam, flew, ran, or just came out of the soil and tried to commune with the sun.

*Everybody’s temple is different, has different needs and requirements and it is wrong to impose your dogma on anybody else. This goes for spiritual matters, as well as dietary choices, or opinions about recreational veil parting.

I believe that the ancient pre-patriarchal tales have a lot to teach us about unconditional love, of the earth, of your kin and of the species as a whole. I believe that a great big dose of nurturing, maternal energy could fix the entire human race and all its problems.
