Here are some links to little old me.

April is a wonderful, caring compassionate person with alot of love to give. Her enthusiasm is infectious and her words kind and wise. She is such a talented artist and has a gift for seeing the good and beautiful in all things, and stands up for those who need help. You are wonderful and I am glad you are part of my Tribe Family. Blessings to you always, Michy

April is the kind of woman who makes you believe in things you thought you were too old for or too cynical for, thinks like fairies, love, true friendship, and compassiona. I've never been able to maintain a cynical thought for 2 seconds when I'm around April. And if there are fairies in this world, she's almost certainly one of them. But, I won't say for sure because I'd spoil her mystery. ;-)

Flower of Divine Love
( for sale » other ) Here is a little pendant made from a bottle cap and a few bits hanging out in the drawer. I like to think it represents the potentiality of mankind. The back sports a star in the earth colors of brown and black. The star is, of course, a symbol of the human body. It is a reminder that we are created to be fleshy and to both love and respect that essential truth.
The front is a flower in slightly muted tones from which blooms a red rose. This represents our higher calling... to strive to be our most divine selves. Available now at my Etsy Shop www.silversunbeam.etsy.com for a mere $15! posted Fri, July 25, 2008 - 4:56 PM
I make boxes for holding prayers. I started off in this vein by making really nice Altoids shrines with the pretty parts on the inside but I could never close them once I was done. That bugged my perfectionist self.... how could my friends safely and easily transport these delicate objects if they couldn't close them? I put the idea aside for a while until March 2007 when I felt a strong urge to make a St. Dyphnia shrine in the form of a box that one's hopes and fears and requests for help could be written down and placed inside. This box wasn't exactly successful but I keep it to remind myself that success in art is relative. The box does its job and whenever I think I'm nuts I find the idea of Dyphnia comforting... she knew what delusions really were.
I'm on my way to completing some new shrine designs. These ones will be small and sturdy enough to carry in your pocket or purse.

As always, take a look at the regular blog to see what's on my mind. Tribe is still being weird for me so I'm not trying to log on all that often. I'm running a little giveaway over there where some lucky someone will win either a Guardian Angel or a Buddha. My intention is to do a gimmie at the end of every month! www.craftingwithcats.blogspot.com
