Good God! The Soma session we did on Saturday was amazing. Love all y'all who showed up. Tierro, Gilly and I kicked it off with the Haung drum and Tierro on guitar--fantastic. There were no stopping points for two hours--we morphed from one instrument to the next in a flow that seemed to take us across time and space. My life has been rich with lessons of grace and pain, reflections of beauty and ugliness, and milestone events that have shaped, and have yet to shape my journey. As I evolve in my ability to move through life with neutrality, I am able to recognize the milestones with clarity, and watch the cosmic puzzle pieces slide together to form the most amazing excerpts of a picture yet to be revealed. Just recently one such milestone locked its image into place.

Lisa has filled many roles in my life and continues to be an expansive force. For me she is someone I can always turn to and learn from. One of the great things I can offer is my knowledge and I know if I choose to give her my tidbits of wisdom she values it. If I ask for truth, guidance, or laughter Lisa will deliver. The great part is Lisa does not seek perfection in her life and that is comforthing to observe. She can admit to her flaws and know in time they will be resolved. One of my favorite times to be around Lisa is when she is laughing. This laughter is contagious and spreads like wildfire. It doesn't take much to get the giggles going, but they go they are hard to stop. She is creating a beautiful life for herself and her daughter and it is inspiring to watch her dreams come to life. I feel so much gratitude to have someone like Lisa in my life to help drive and inspire me and that also allows me to do the same for her. For me Lisa is truely a life long friend that I will share in the chain of give and take.

I guess the finest compliment I could give anyone is that each moment spent with them is educational. That sounds bland, and is bland when talking about this girl, but she is teaching me so much about myself. It's really on a spiritual level. I used to ignore, not talk about, or toss aside spiritual matters, and really didn't have that term in my vocabulary until very recently. Though I've always used my heart to guide me, I have a new more mature understanding of sharing with someone else on the spiritual plane. Just being in Lisa's presence works for me, but she is so grounded and elequent in her movements, vocabulary, creations, pursuits, and personal choices that she is a GREAT teacher. And ANYONE can benefit by meeting her. She is starting a new career path with the label - at least on her business card - Energy therapist. I think that description fits really well. Personally, I would probably have a knee jerk reaction to reading this, and think, "here we go again with some new agey airey fairey wannabe...
So, not the case here! She is a true Shaman.. Someone who people from another time would travel their whole life on foot to visit. Amazingly powerful being! I, for one, will always be indebted to you Lisa, Thank you... (No,,,,,, thank YOU) };-D Dave
