Loose Change is a nice, slick documentary on 9/11 that has a lot of legitimate facts. But they promote the "pod" theory which in my opinion is ridiculous. Are they trying to discredit the truth movement by mixing in nonsense with the facts? I urge people new to 9/11 truth, to not put "faith" in any one spokesman or documentary. Every single attempt to investigate and uncover the truth behind 9-11 has been blackballed, ridiculed, and harassed by both the government and media alike, for even daring to question the official story. 911research: Loose Change is correct about ridicule, as demonstrated by the Popular Mechanics, Scientific American, and many other many other attacks,' but blackballing and harassment seems to be hyperbole. Also, what Loose Change fails to note is that most of the ridicule exploits sloppy and misinformed claims such as litter the video.

The Poor Mental Hygiene of Canadians who buy into War Many people here are just into making money, and do not care about anything much but their immediate gratification. But it is like that everywhere. People want growth for their communities(at least the Chambers of Commerce do) to increase their share in this pyramid scheme style of capitalism, where human needs like shelter are speculated on by wealthy investors. This drives up housing costs, and those who pay rent are often the ones subsidizing the get-richer-quicker schemes of these house-flipping property pimps. This is mainly what is driving the insanely high immigration rates into Canada, which further inflates the housing bubble. Many people who work cannot afford a place to live, and homelessness is a growing epidemic in Canada. Meanwhile Mr Harper, always acting in accordance with US and Israeli goals, has engaged in a war that will cost $20 billion(which was sold to Canadians by the Liberals as a peacekeeping misison), against a people who want us out of their lands. And still, the message is to support the troops fighting for freedom. The dead soldiers' families are trotted out to say that the mission is worth it, and that they died fighting for freedom, and victory is just around the corner. There is evidence of mass psychosis in Canada, with the source the politicians and media filling Canadians' heads with garbage. The reality is, that the sociopathic necons need to keep the propaganda going or support for the war would be what it should be if the public was properly informed, that is 1%(every village has it's idiots). The centre of most towns is devoted to death worship(veterans memorial --a mystery religion/Masonic cenotaph usually), to remind the people that war is noble and good, and that they were fighting for freedom. Why else do they have monuments to war? I guess to appease the public dupes that bought into it, based on lies by the state and capitalists. They got shiny medals in place of their limbs, ceremonies, condolences, pomp and splendour for their lost loved ones. Now, thanks to the internet we are able to see that the reasons for the Afghanistan and Iraq wars were based on lies. In fact the most astute were able to see through each lie soon after it surfaced. If we dig deep enough, will we find that Korea, and WWI & WWII were also based on lies to enrich the plutocrats running things. More lies for money hungry warmongers, and their usefull idiots and fools. The fact is that Afghan girls are setting themselves on fire to escape the social conditions. Now we are going to change their culture? We see the lies for what they are this time. Can we act now to stop the propaganda machine from lying their useless and futile deaths in Afghanistan into another noble fight for our freedoms, rather than what it is; Canadian soldiers sitting in the dark and firing on anything that moves, or calling in airstrikes on villages, or simply driving around waiting to get attacked? Will we have to endure memorials for Afghanistan vets who died, 'defending our freedoms', thus indoctrinating a new generation of cannon-fodder, AKA your children? I think most people know that Bin Laden was not behind 9/11. The twisted evil intentions of GW Bush were made clear when the Taliban simply demanded proof that Bin Laden was responsible. The US refused, so the Taliban refused to bring dishonour to themselves by giving up an Afghan war hero who drove out the Soviets(with much US help, incidentally). So the Afghan war is completely on false pretenses! How dare they fearmonger that the terrorists are coming for us, or as a Kootenay politician said, "fight them in Khandaher or you can fight them in Kamloops"! The psychosis is raining down on us from the neocon Prime Ministers office into our communities through politicians spreading these crackpot lies. I say BULLSHIT TO LIES LIKE "THEY DIED FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM", when all they are doing is propping up a US puppet regime that has reopened the opium trade. Fine thing to die for, cheap heroin on the streets of Canada. They say the soldiers must be honoured and 'support the troops' propaganda decals belong on municipal vehicles. BULLSHIT TO RED SHIRT FRIDAYS!!! BULLSHIT TO "SUPPORT THE TROOPS" DECALS ON TAXPAYER FUNDED VEHICLES!!! BULLSHIT TO THEM SAYING SUCH DISPLAYS ARE NOT POLITICAL!!! The veterans groups are usually supportive of wars. I guess the brainwashing of 'the big ones' has stuck with them. They do not want to admit their sacrifice was really for nothing, that ALL the wars of the past century were nothing more than get-richer rackets for the super-rich. This is the main brain-lock that is perpetuating wars; that we don't see the WAR MONGERING SCUM, FOR THE SCUM THAT THEY ARE!!! The veterans are lost, they won't change their minds about their so-called 'glory days', where they are given a spotlight in the media and we Canadians are shown that they saved us from totalitarianism(although the truth is Hitler wanted peace with the British and would not have taken over the world even without Canadian fools spilling their guts). We hear the same today about Islamofascists, that we cannot rest, we must kill the evil Muslims. The veterans who aren't anti-war are basically fools, and the uplifting of them to some kind of high status, just perpetuates the lies of the warmongers. And more young fools are sent to hell holes like Afghanistan for 'freedom'. We may ot be able to reach all the old fools, but we may be able to save the youth before they are blooded. Let's Get Real; The Heros are Zeros

Came across this message Wed, August 1, 2007 on newsgroup can.politics by dangdangdoodle: If you don't support the war, than why the hell are you saying you support the troops who are willingly fighting the war? I'll tell you why. It's because you are confused and fearful when the neocons claim that "if you don't support the troops, you are unpatriotic," so you rationalize that you can do both. Well you can't. It's their way of splitting your energy, making you ineffective in your protests to stop the war. Don't let them get away with it. Have the courage to standup against the unnecessary wars. "Spreading Democracy" is only a ruse. Have the integrity to stop supporting the troops and their senseless propagation of unprovoked violence. The troops need to hear that you are not supporting them anymore. Otherwise the message you send is conflicted and they just don't get it. True patriots are against the unnecessary unprovoked violence and against the actions of all those involved. I don't support the troops because since they are under control of the neocons, only the feeble, dumb, or owned support them. Neocons don't support the troops either, because they're too busy exploiting them for their own machinations. The Heros are Zeros. They can't have their cake and eat it too. They can either get a uniform and a tiny chunk of group mind, or a chance to develop an independent mind. They can't have both. And once they're owned, they're owned. The neocons biggest weapon is schizmogenisis. That is, they generate a division, in this case, in your mind and in your life if they can (i.e. civil war in Iraq, extreme political sides in the US) Again. Don't let the neocons split your energy.
