Who/what are we? We are not our thoughts. Thought is nothing more than electrical impulses firing through our central nervous system and with time, can be silenced through meditation. We are not our emotions. Emotion is an electrochemical process that takes place as our body's reaction to thought; not as some people would like to believe, a reaction to external stimuli (10 people can watch the same event and emote 10 different responses). Something that seems to be a recurrent issue in American society is the myth of being that special someone. We are only what we are at any given moment. In truth my identity is not father, boyfriend or warrior; those are only lables that people use to describe trends and patterns of behavior.

I am well into my second year of wandering and have found as much disatisfaction as when gainfully employed. This realization is a potent reminder that happiness comes from within. Hunger staved will return, happiness forgotten will come back around- be open to all experience and savor each; when it is all said and done, this is all we have.

Centered, malleable, inert; the immovable object- until the time for action, then life becomes the unstoppable force.
Regarding eternity and reincarnation.
