The Fabulous Miz Rachel is a proud and fierce aardvark, and I love her dearly and think of her often, even though I haven't seen her in far, far too long. She is a truly magickal beast, almost too potent to be true. Rachel, pretty please will you come drink tea and dance with me sometime soon?

I've known Ms. Rachel since we were both undergraduate Berkeley co-eds in the mid-90s, and have to insert my two cents.

Sure, she's a drop-dead gorgeous bombshell with a figure to die for and radiant beauty (and that hair!). That's not even the tip of the iceberg with this woman! Rachel is both brilliant *and* creative - a key combination distinguishing her from the pack of overachievers with whom we hung. Ask her about her honors dissertation (fascinating topic), and get an insight into why it was the profs were endlessly intrigued by her ideas while we - her peers - found her fun, delightful, valuable on any team project, and dedicated to her pursuits.

And as a friend, I can't count how many times she helped me through a rough patch with just the right words, perfect pithy jokes, or "poor baby's" accompanied by "permission" to eat all the chocolate I wanted... for a day! She's a valuable person to have on your side, for certain. Particularly if you were a tomboy-nerd-girl in your youth - SHE KNOWS ABOUT DINOSAURS!

She's my lady. Woooooah oooooooh oooooooh, she's my laaaaady.

I've only met miss Rachel twice in person, but I think I would crawl across broken glass to hear her voice again, it's that enchanting. She's also incredibly brilliant, and easy on the eyes.
