Balance is one of the most amazing spiritual visionaries I have ever known. He is loving and wild and excited about existence. A divine vessel and a vessel of the divine he dances his way through the world leaving blossoms where he has gone. This man is living his dreams and living in the moment. Balance will always have my respect and admiration. If you have the opportunity to spend some time with him you will find that you have learned some important things about love, spirituality, and the universe.

I am preparing for the Sun Dance once again!! RedWulf, Standing Feather, and I will depart on Monday, 6 July to head up to Utah for the Ceremony! I have my Ceremonial Drag all ready; I'm putting the finishing touches on the plantings for Monsoon Season, and preparing the Cabin at Wit's End for Camille, a new ZMS resident who will be house-sitting while I'm away. But one never really is. Ross has moved back to ZMS, and the rains fell for two weeks at the end of May!!! Then, a week of heat, sun, you know, our usual dry June. But then, last night, it rained all night and into the morning, stopping just before Sun Rise!!! Yeehaw, I've never seen it so green in June!! Gotta Love it!

It's been a wonderfully hellacious Winter Hibernation!! I've spent a lot of time draggin' my Self through my own mucky quagmire of wounded ego shit, and have finally come up for air, and realized it's time to bathe!!

Well, I've been snowbound since the end of December, pretty much. Was able to get out once in January and twice in February. Lots of snow followed by a huge melt, the roads have been a MESS!!! So I'm trying to stay focused on finishing my cabin, getting the woodstove back in, having all my firewood cut, and a winter's worth of food stored away so this won't be quite the challenge it's been. Well gang. Hunkerin' in for the wintertides. I'm in the midst of a three week stay at home vacation--and LOVIN' IT!! Keeping warm, hiking, yoga, qi gong, meditation, lodge, bakin sweet things, jerkin' off, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, yes, what a sweet winter get away, and it's all right here at home!!
