Friends,
Some of you were aware that Diane and I were expecting our second child, whom we found out a little while back was to be another boy.
You could all imagine our extreme happiness over this as we have been trying for some time t have another child. All seemed to be going according to plan; new home with room for our growing family, I finished school and secured two positions at different facilites as an RCA, Diane finished working and was excited to be at home with her boys... For all intensive purposes things seemed to be falling into place.
However, it is with deepest regret I am writing this note to inform you all that our second child, Aiden Xavier Gordon, passed away at 24 weeks on May 3rd.
After what seemed an eternity in the hospital (real time was only a week), Aiden decided not to incarnate into this life. He however passed in probably the best place he could though; in utero where he was warm and safe and surrounded by love.
This little boy was so loved by us all, but in his own path could not become seated into this life, and thus he went back home until the time was right.
To make matters worse, my inlaws faced adversioty of their own the night we were admitted into the hospital. Their home and most of their possesions burned down to the ground. Luckily however, they were able to make it out of the fire and everyone except for the kitty are ok.
For the time being, they are living with us in our home.
So needless to say that this has been an extremely challenging time for all of us, filled with alot of tears and hardships.
But also acceptance & self realisation.
The lessons in life that we are faced with, some of the time we can see them for what the are. Especially when we are in the thick of it.
But the lessons, they are for our learning, for our growth as individuals for the evolution of our spirits, as challenges are meant to be overcome.
So i ask you all to look at those things in your life that you have faced, the trying times that seemed to kill your very being..The challenges that you have faced....See the lessons unfolding before you, as everything happens for a reason.
wherever you all are, I wish you love to the highest degree possible, and i wish you all well on your life journeys.
