I am researching shade structure options:

what are your thoughts on using 2 posts and a tarp off a vehicle? should I make the posts from pipe or wood? secure to the ground with rebar through the pipe/beam?

carport style structures... flat or peak?

PVC hangar style... do these hold up? how do you attach tarps to them, reliably?
