Share.LA Monthly BBQ and Audio+Video Jam

Kurt Cobain's body was found on this day 13 years ago. What happened? Did Courtney do it? We may never know. What we do know is this: On this thirteenth anniversary of that fateful day that grunge cried, we will be firing up a beautiful BBQ made by Basswerks Artist Jason Saunders and gathering an ungodly amount of electronic equipment in our AV lounge for some realtime AudioVisual madness.

FREE * ANYONE CAN PLAY * EVERYONE CAN WATCH * BRING SOMETHING TO BBQ!

3pm-8pm, April 8, 2007 here at Basswerks in Mid-City Los Angeles. Take a look at our website for directions: www.basswerks.net/

Basswerks Movie Night

We've done psychedelic.
We've done artsy.
We've done comedy.
Now we are doing something a little more serious.

This month's movie night will feature "Loose Change 2nd Edition." Here's a description from the film's website:
"'Loose Change 2nd Edition' is the follow-up to the most provocative 9-11 documentary on the market today.
This film shows direct connection between the attacks of September 11, 2001 and the United States government.
Evidence is derived from news footage, scientific fact, and most important, Americans who suffered through that tragic day.
We have done nothing extraordinary in terms of research. We also do not take credit for these people's hard work.
Also, take nothing we say at face value.
We highly encourage you to research this information yourselves and come to your own conclusions."

Visit the official site for more information on the movie:
www.loosechange911.com

Plenty of seating is available, but feel free to bring something fluffy to sit on or wrap yoursefl in. Bring anything you feel like sharing as well, beer, popcorn, etc.
Basswerks Movie Night goes from about 8pm to about 10pm this Thursday, April 6th
