I wanted stuff to show up as shared interests, so I didn't put my editorial comments next to my replies. I know, I'm a pain… I only like the old Barry Manilow stuff. The same goes for The Beach Boys. I am not a Beatlemaniac, I do not know all of their songs, I just grew up listening to stuff like this. Oh, and I like Enrique Iglesias, but mostly when he's singing in Spanish. His English lyrics are often sadly lacking the proper poetry. Crossovers spoil things. As for classical music, I like Bach, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Mozart, Maurice Ravel, Tchaikovsky, and Samuel Barber. I don't particularly like new classical music, but that doesn't mean I won't try out a new composer (or an old one, for that matter)… I was a voracious reader when I was younger and had a lot of time. I don't really watch TV. I like stuff on A&E that's not "Biography", I guess. If you're wondering about my movie choices, I like The Lion King for its animation, and Seabiscuit for astonishing the heck out of me in how good everything from costumes to music was. Those aren't my only favorite movies, but they are the ones that come to mind at the moment. In case you couldn't tell, I'm insanely loquacious. I'm not sure how to describe *me* here, seeing as people are inherently hard to describe or define. I wish my friends would write the descriptions! At least then it would be brutally honest, I hope...
