My Testimonials

July 25, 2007
Baubo is amazing. Totally and thoroughly. She is one of the most generous, kindest people i've met in a while. She and her family are so beautiful and definately know how to set up a camp that will never be found lacking for anything at all, including yummy vegan lovliness, cell phone chargers, quaters for the showers, gigantic rocking horses, o.. pretty much anything.....The point is, that baubo is amazing and i'm so glad that we got to hang out with her and bask in her motherly goodness amongst the most beautiful , kindest, people whom she so wisely and kindly draws to heself. If you have any opportunity to get to know this lady, definately do so. You will feel fuller and happier for it :)

This is one of thee most intelligent, down to earth and beautiful women you will ever meet.

She is my Dearest Friend, the longest lasting friendship I will ever know.

My first choice as phone a friend on Millionaire.

She has raised two of the most interesting and uniquely wonderful people I know. Her heart, Joshua and Cassandra.

I wish her soooo much happiness, love and adventure.

A woman of great intelligence and profound compassion. She is the truest friend I have ever had. Without her the world would be diminished.

The incredible dearth of non-Christmas holiday items. (blog entry) So I know a lot of you, like me, are completely overwhelmed during the holiday season, but this isn't the normal Christmas rant, really. (You know the one, the commercialization of Christmas, the bottom line for store owners, etcetera.)

No, TH... read more

Sometimes I want to step sideways... (blog entry) Sometimes I wish I could do that thing like in the Charles deLint books and step sideways into the dreamlands, and revel in my heart home. Cougars. (blog entry) Okay, okay, I guess I should explain about the cougars, shouldn't I.

It's Official. (blog entry) That's right folks, it's official, my daughter Lyra and her Jeremy now live in Canadia, land of mounties and hockey and maple syrup and maple leaves and all other things, um, maple (and cougars, but that's another story.)

I know, because me and... read more

Ten Random Things About Me...? (blog entry) Hokay, I been tagged, so here goes:

1.) Sometimes, I read the dictionary for fun. I just love to learn new words and their meanings, and try to remember to use them for the rest of my life, with varying degrees of success.

2.) I have this... read more

No, THIS rant is about the non-availability of Holiday items which are non-Christian in origin. Don't get me wrong, my family celebrates Christmas with a shopping verve unequaled by many (even though we are most of us poor), and in the case of my mother a... read more

Sometimes I wish I could do that thing like in the Charles deLint books and step sideways into the dreamlands, and revel in my heart home. I get so tired of the mundane world with bills and worries and health problems and constant fucking pain. I want to be like Jilly Coppercorn in that when I step sideways into the between, I am the self that I picture in my mind, physically. I am not this broken body. I am not this lurching painful shell. I can run and jump and dance and climb trees an... read more

Okay, okay, I guess I should explain about the cougars, shouldn't I.

When my daughter Lyra told her father that she was moving to Powell River, BC last week she explained to him that it was a small town where she could go practically everywhere on her bike. He told her she needed to be careful up there in the woods because a cougar could just leap out and take her right off that bike before she knew what was happening, and she'd be dead, quick, just like that. *snap fingers*

While the ... read more

I know, because me and FaeryAngel Lynne and Joelle went up there with them to help them move and get settled in.

They are sharing a house in Powell River, BC with two other alternative lifestyle vegetarians and you can actually see the ocean from the front porch. It's... read more

2.) I have this theory that people's brains are like colanders, and how much information you store in your brain depends on how large or small the holes are, allowing either small bits and pieces, or entire gigantic chunks, to wash away down the drain, never to be ... read more
