I am a middle-aged systems analyst working in child support enforcement administration. I was using the Internet before it really was the Internet. I was running mailing lists before the World Wide Web was invented (and we had to carry buckets of bits to the computer, uphill both ways. )

I am a Witch, but definitely not a Wiccan. (Although with cowans I don't bother pointing out the difference, it's not worth my time or their confusion.)

I really can't understand why the majority of the US population supports physician-assisted abortion, while at the same time recoiling in horror at the idea of physician-assisted suicide. I mean, after all, everyone should have the right to do whatever they want to their own body as long it's not physically harming someone else, right?

I also don't understand this sudden worry about China and the Olympics, when so many people buy Chinese goods every day. Especially at Wal-Mart. If people want to make a -real- difference on China, start picketing and boycotting Wal-Mart, don't attack the participants in the closest thing we have to some sort of honest cooperation internationally.

I believe that the various entities labeled by Christianity as "satanic" or "evil" are just the victims of Christian spin, aided by Christians killing a lot of those entities' allies and/or followers. I believe that the Unseleighe Court of Faery has a similar PR problem, although at least in that case the human allies of Seleighe don't generally go around killing other humans to suppress them.

I read a lot. I've read over thirty books so far this year; the list is at my about me page. I hold degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Political Science, and Professional Studies. The highest academic degree I've attained is an MA. I've also been listed (under my legal name, of course) in at least one Marquis' Who's Who publication each year from 2001 through 2008.
