about me
I'm still trying to decide that myself.
Sometimes I take myself far too seriously. Sometimes not at all. There are certain things I take very seriously all the time. Not that those things can't be funny. Often they are very funny, just not in the way intended.

Received from a Friend a While Back (blog entry) It's old and slightly dated but still true to this day. So no more talk about "Values" people because it's all bull and everyone knows when you open your mouth and spout off about it, you so-called "Red Blooded Amurikans" have no idea what you are... read more

Re: Woman charged with murder in death of newborn. (in Ask a Moral Philosopher) It's a very short article and thin on details.

Unless the state knows that she told someone she planned to dispose of the baby that way, then First Degree Murder will be difficult to prove. I agree, they are probably looking to get her to plead... read more

Fuck the South. Fuck 'em. We should have let them go when they wanted to leave. But no, we had to kill half a million people so they'd stay part of our special Union. Fighting for the right to keep slaves - yeah, those are sta... read more

The Nation

Thursday 10 January 2008

There's a war on across the country over who will be allowed to vote in 2008. One of the key battles in the election was fought on January 9 before the Supreme Court.

The case is called Crawford v. Marion County Election Board. It tests an Indiana statute, passed in 2005, requiring voters to present a government-issued ID before they can cast a ballot. The law is aimed at alleged fraudulent voting by unregistered or noncit... read more

there are a few blogs I read. Nothing having anything to do with tribe.

In one was a poem.

ELI CAME BACK FROM IRAQ
I recently recieved this amazing poem, written by Andrea Gibson, about a mother and her son--a combat medic who's served in Iraq. Its a great piece of work and should be shared by all.

Eli came back from Iraq
and tattooed a teddy bear onto the inside of his wrist
above that a medic with an IV bag
above that an angel
but Eli says the teddy bear won’t live

tonight, Pittsburgh is playing the fish in Pittsburgh.

The Dolphins are 0 and 10 so far this year. Dead last in the NFL in run defense.

Pittsburgh is 5 and 0 at home this year. 12 and 0 on Monday night football.

What the fucking hell is wrong with the Steelers?!?!?!? They should have buried the fish by now!

SHIT!!!!!

My Testimonials

April 8, 2007
Raul has become home. he is a safe grounded place that i am very thankful to have found.
i miss him when he is gone, to the point that it is hard to sleep when he can't be here.

He has incredible focus, which is nice when you are the center, but often times it requires giving him a little nudge to help him see the things occuring around him outside his focus. The cool thing is that he is appreciative, and not distressed.

His family and his time are very important to him.

He is strong and we can disagree without fear of hurting each other.

I enjoy being his partner and his pet.
