about me
My name is Sarah and I live in Connecticut's beautiful, serene Northeast corner in our state's smallest town, Union - population: 743. My home is settled amongst state parklands, surrounded by dense forest and several bodies of cool refreshing water - most of which have lily pads the size of my head. There are the glorious sounds of songbirds throughout the day and the deep lull of peepfrogs at night. I'm married to my best friend, have (3)...yes (3)! large pooches who never fail to teach me the virtue of patience on a daily basis, and I recently qualified for lower car insurance costs by turning the big 3-0 this July 2006. I am a self-proclaimed granola stalker, tree-huggin' dirt worshipper who is down-to-earth and responsible. I'm the eldest of 4 kids, have (2) lovely tattoos (if I do say so myself!), eat organic food as much as possible, love and support DIY/independent art & fairly-traded goods, my talents include, but are not limited to: drawing a duck using a cursive-S and point-and-click nature photography (several examples of my work are shown throughout my websites), I work part-time as an Alpaca farmhand, and last but certainly not least, I planned to grow my hair down to my knees, but alas, decided onna whim to cut it, donate a 10-inch ponytail to Locks Of Love, and dye it pink...just because I can.

In order to do my part as a concerned citizen for the well-being of our planet, I established Moondrop Clothiers (www.moondropclothiers.com) in 2003 with just about a dollar in my pocket, an overstuffed closet, and the firm belief that one person CAN make a difference. Its mission is to help people feel and look beautiful, be comfortable, and remain stylish while supporting and sustaining Mother Earth at the same time. Then, in 2006, I bought The Conscious Child (www.theconsciouschild.com), which is now a small division of Moondrop Clothiers. This site's mission is to give parents an affordable alternative to high-priced organic baby, toddler, and small children's clothing.

Moondrop Clothiers LLC & The Conscious Child are socially-conscious and environmentally-friendly businesses that truly care for the consumer AND those who created our products in the first place. peace
