So yesterday I went to lunch with two guys from the city attorney's office. One of them was the actual city attorney, so someone with actual hiring decision-making power. And he paid for my lunch before I could offer to pay for myself. So I don't know if that means it was more like an interview or what. There's a law in Missouri that you can't put names in a published case if it might reveal the name of someone who was a victim of sexual assault. And generally we try to keep juvenile's names out of cases if it might hurt their reputation or whatever. And if it's a termination of parental rights case, we can't put the names in either.
