In the early morining pre-dawn hours, the day before yesterday, I had a dream that I was talking and taking care of my maternal Grandfahter again (who died of complications from emphasema this past April of the present year .

In the dream I was talking to him and taking care of him .

At sometime in a previous dream, or somehen within the unfolding dream sequence , I recalled a line from St.Paul :

Yesterday was a quite sunny afternoon , for the most part.

So many days have come and gone now .

It was last summer , around July 4 or 5 th, that Grandfather and I moved into the studio apartment / bachelor pad apartment, in Lakeland, Florida, on South Florida Avenue ---not far from where my aunt 's apartment is .

We got a studio apartment and he was paying rent and we hoped we could maintain a life there for some time to come . Emphysema is a terrible physical disorder ...

It was in ea... read more

PREFACE : Wanted to write this present story while it was still June . I wrote much of it in mid-June. June for a number of years now, has become my favorite month (and not just because my Grandparents back in 1982 and 1983, had a reproduction of a painting of a very beautiful young lady , the original being painted by Frederic Lord Leighton , titled 'Flaming June', in their antique shop in Lakeland ---although that does give some impetus ) .

June is the start of the summer (though, here ... read more
