Saw a water turkey laying on the surface of the water of the nearby pond, with its wings outspread in a cruciform pattern. Wishing Grandpa was there so i could tell him about it . So many days have come and gone now . It was last summer , around July 4 or 5 th, that Grandfather and I moved into the studio apartment / bachelor pad apartment, in Lakeland, Florida, on South Florida Avenue ---not far from where my aunt 's apartment is .
