And I am having people over to the house in San Bruno for BBQing, drinking, and who knows what else the night may bring. Bring something to grill, some mixers, and/or beer. What are you up to on Sat night? Want to come roller skating with me? I'm headed out to the roller disco once again and would really love it if more people got their skate on with me this time! The best part is that you will still be able to go out for the night. It starts at 8 and goes to 11, but my unfit body can only do about and hour or two. This is one of the best work outs ever by the way. So what do you think? Want to come skate with me?

I don’t know how many people even hop onto tribe anymore but here’s what I have been up to…… Job = paid off bills and some fun when I had the time, but a lot less time with friends Job on Tues 5/19/09 = fun employment, no more money, but LOTS of friend time to catch up on. Boyfriend = awesome!!!!!! We are moving in together in July/Aug. and I didn’t think it was possible but I love him more everyday. So what’s new with you?

Two years ago (yesterday) I stuffed my cats into the cab of a Penske and headed up the 5 with all of my crap to start a life here in the bay area. Two incredible women let me live in their dinning room to get back on my feet. I then moved into the hobbit hole, which was my very first apartment that I had all to myself. After a few really weird dates and a “what was I thinking?” relationship, I started a new job that is slowly pulling me out of a giant whole, moved to the east bay, and have fallen in love with an amazing boy. Some of my relationships with people have changed, but not changed at all in the same breath. There seems to be a whole lot of love that I have for my friends that grows everyday in so many different ways. People are getting married left and right and having kids, and friends and family have passed away. The past couple of years have not been easy in any way that you look at it, and I’m sure that the years to come will only seem to get harder. I get through every day a little bit easier knowing that my friends and family are around, and I look forward to A LOT more laughing and crying with all of you……

11 days and I still love him....

11 whole days and I still can’t get enough. It’s kind of sick. All I want are more hugs, kisses, and pats on the head. The even weirder part of it is that he still can’t get enough either. We started off our vacation with x-mas at my parent’s house. I think I was more nervous about this than he was, but he did amazingly well. Exact quote from my Dad… “I like this one, we can keep him.” I’m my Dad’s only girl and oldest child, so these words mean a lot! We got great gifts, and Pedro’s gifts for my Dad and Step Mom were the down right winner in their eyes. I told him that I knew all the secrets. he he he While staying at my parent’s house he got to meet more of my friends, and hang with my little brother a bit. We are trying to come up with a plan to steal my brother’s dog, or at least be able to have first choice if there are ever puppies. The cutest boxer of all time will one day be ours! Next on our list of thing to do… Cuban food! I will try it again, but let’s just say that it’s not so much my kind of thing. Pedro was super happy and super full though which made it all worth it. I couldn’t even imagine going with out Italian food for more than a couple of weeks let alone a couple of years. We found some floor space at Scott’s (thank you Scott!) and crashed out pretty early. Magic Mountain was our next stop as we headed north. I’ve said it a million times but…. I LOVE ROLLER COASTERS! We met up with a couple of my friends and had a day of adrenaline rush after adrenaline rush, it was awesome! By the time we made it back to the hotel we were exhausted, and crashed out not too soon afterwards. We continued north to check into our room and the Madonna Inn. This place is so awesome, pricey, but awesome! The man that started the place was kind of a freaky guy. We stayed in the Yosemite room. All the walls of the room were covered in rock, we had a big fire place that kept setting off the fire alarm, and a pretty cool shower. If you ever want some good food with some amazing service you should eat at their steak house. So yummy! The pool was really awesome too. It was all so cheesy that you couldn’t help but love it. The night continued with lots of goofing around and scientific experiments galore. Finally going to sleep at who really knows what time. Now we headed towards the ocean to Twigsville. This is the part of the trip that he was the most nervous about. He did great! Bitch told us one night that we really satisfied the needs of many people between our jello shots and ziti. Who knew my friends were that easy? Oh yea I did. he he he Oh and remember that comment from my dad? It was repeated more than once from the mouths of my friends. 4 days of silliness with the peeps and I was ready to never leave and to get the hell out of there all in the same breath. We ended our trip with a drive up the 1, a stop to see the elephant seals, and dinner on the wharf in Santa Cruz. Got home and fell into bed to pass out and wake up the next morning with the sick that we had been fighting since day 3 or 4, and I am still sick. Dumb. So 11 days of not just being together, but also traveling together, and we didn’t kill each other. In fact we didn’t even have an argument until day 9. The most disgusting part of it all… On day 12 we were sad because we would not see each other that night. Sometimes I feel like I’ve been taken over by aliens or something.

Here’s the break down: My boyfriend is the best ever in the whole wide world! Santacon rocked my world as usual. Thank you Miss Ellen and Mr. Weezie for leading me around the city!! My friends love me a lot! Just ask Pedro and Buckley… People in general kind of suck, but the people I love more than make up for it. AND only **8** more days until I don’t have to work for 11 whole days!!!

My wife needs lot and lots of love sent her way! Sometimes this world just picks on the wrong people. I’ve had a headache for like 3 days. I hope to win lots and lots of money in Vegas, even though I know that there is a small chance in hell. I leave tomorrow. I get 4 days off, and boy do I need it. The movie Twilight is so bad, that it’s good. After this weekend x-mas is here, and I still haven’t seemed to get my gift from a gift exchange from last year. Who was my secret Santa anyways? I can’t wait to get my house finished so that I can get my x-mas tree. I get 12 days off around x-mas and New Years! The boy is going to meet the fam. Twiggsville is going to be so much fun! And I’m still smiling…..

I’m crazy in love with a boy (like A LOT), life seems to have gotten even crazier socially, and I’m feeling a bit crazy in general. I’m really super happy though. Working 10 hour days, 6 days a week is really starting to get to me, but dept is getting paid off. The light at the end of the tunnel is a whole month of not working and traveling to see friends. Texas here I come! Oh and AZ! With a short stop in Socal too. I miss being able to hang with my friends as much as I used to, and that probably wont change until I am done with this job. May is the end of the project and it seems like its right around the corner and forever away all in the same breath. There are a few people around me that need some serious happy thoughts sent their way. So any that can be spared please send out into the world and someone will grab on. Life is tuff, but great, and I truly am enjoying it right now.

One more year on this earth has gone by and I have to say that even though there was a lot struggle, there were a ton more laughs to go along with it. Life seems to get a bit better every year, and my friends play a big part in that for me. So many people hate their birthday, I LOVE it! It’s another year playing on this crazy planet with people I love and care about. It’s also another year finding out you I am, who those people I like to play with are, and finding out who we all are becoming. Not to mention that it is a day that is all about me! lol I’ve learned a whole lot about who I am since moving to the bay area, and over this past year I’ve learned a whole more. There are things that I’ve learned about me that are finally making it comfortable to be in my own skin. So another year of lots of laughs, making deeper connections with people that will have a hard time getting rid of me, and lessons learned. The best lesson of this past year….. Life is a pretty big pain in the ass, but if you can find your own little corner of happy it doesn’t seem all that bad anymore. Oh yea birthday plans…… There are a bunch of us going to Folsome Street Fair on Sun. Let me know if you’d like to come play too. Then there is a trip down south Nov 8th and 9th to the land of the mouse for Bats day (goth day!), and Pirate dinner theater. Ninjas are welcome as long as they are on their best behavior, or not ‘cause that’s fun too! Just don’t get us kicked out ok? And if neither one of those options works for you, I will be having a dinner at my house as soon as I find it under that stacks of boxes that still fill it. Yay Happy Birthday to me!

tired, sick, and falling hard for a really amazing boy. Burningman was ruff, but having Pedro there made all the difference. I had fun, but let’s just say that unless we have a heavy winter up there I will not be returning. The soft, soft playa was just too much for me to handle. I got a super cute bike and couldn't ride it anywhere, I got a crazy rash on most of my body, the art really kind of sucked, and the dust storms where ridiculous. I spent a good amount of my time in Camp No Drama and it was awesome. If I do go back I will be camped with these awesome people again. The playa just seemed to be missing the magic this year. Oh and I got to bring home a staph infection! I wish this infection on no one. It’s horrible. 5 more days of meds still to go. I’m feeling better, but not 100% quite yet. About a month before the burn I met a boy. Date one was too good to be true, date two got even better, and date three rock my world even more. I knew at that point that this guy was a good one. I was completely freaked out about going to the playa with him, even though he was camping somewhere else. I arrived on playa two days before him and proceeded to freak out even more because I realized that we hadn’t talked about rules out there. Was he planning on hooking up with other people, did I want to have that option myself? Mon night/ Sun morn at 2 am Pedro and Nici girlfriend , Chris, (now fiancé) rolled in. I was passed out in my bed waiting for them. First I welcomed him home, and then he calmed my freaking out with in seconds. Just him and I for the week, no one else to complicate things, all with a question mark at the end of the sentence. With a sigh of relief on both sides we realized that we had the same idea of what the rules would be. The week was awesome! I’ve come to the conclusion that spending a week with someone out there is like spending a month with them here in the real world. I kidnapped him from the very beginning. His tent was only a place to hold his stuff. We work well as a team, and he deals with my crazy quite well. I don’t know how he does it, but he seems to calm me down faster than anyone I know, my wife pulling in a super close second. Love is a scary thing for me, but I’m rolling with it. I’m trying my best not to fight it, and I’m having A LOT of fun. It's been even more amazing since coming home, and I'm falling hard and fast.

No not the TV show! In 48 hrs I'll be home! I can't wait. I need that dust right now. I am totally excited. I can’t wait to see all of my friends that don’t live in the bay area. I can’t wait to see my boy go through the newbie experience. I can’t wait to dance and play. I can’t wait to serve bloody mary’s. Come see me in Lamplighter Village on Wed and noon! I can’t wait for the first night of howling at sunset. I feel so scatter brain right now. So many things that I have running though my head, and a giant smile on my face. See you out there people! And if you’re not going…. hold down the fort for all of us that are gone, and I’ll miss ya out there!

Wow what a month......

Ok so I haven’t posted in a while ‘cause life has been so freaking crazy! You try doing a new job, move into a new home, get ready for BM, and start a new (and awesome) relationship all at once! But I’m happy…. I love my new job and the 10 hour days seem to just fly by. I’ll look at the clock in the morning and then all of a sudden it’s freakin’ 2 in the afternoon! My boss is pretty cool too, even if she is Canadian. My new place is awesome. It’s so big that I am going to have a whole sewing area, with two 6 foot tables in it. Yay! Getting ready for BM is hard when everything is in boxes, but I’m doing it. One week from today I’ll be home. And the new boy will be there too! It’s his first burn and will be in Lost Penguins. He’s so super awesome it’s not even funny. Remember when I said I was going to try to live by something that came out of my own mouth? “Why spend time trying to make something work, when you can spend that time looking for something that just does.” Well so far so good. A month in and things really do just work. Can’t find anything that I don’t like about him, and that feels good. So no time to sleep, but can’t stop smiling. Life is being pretty good to me right now. Even the couple of sucky things that I’m working on haven’t gotten me down. I hope life isn’t being too mean to all of you, and I miss people so come Sep (my b-day month by the way) hanging out will happen in a big way. I have a real kitchen now and want to have dinners at my place, so keep and eye out for an invite. Love you people, and even though I’m happy you still don’t get hugs you dirty hippies!

Was going to be in LA, but ended up on the playa. Had a small suite case packed, but packed for the playa in under and hour. Was going to spend some quiet time beside a pool, but got to see some amazing explosions with awesome friends. Had a ruff start to the weekend, but ended it with smiles. I really think that boys suck, but know that my friends rock my world. And things seem to be getting better by the day. They seem to be falling into place once again, and it about freaking time! Life is such a freaking roller coaster right now. I don’t know weather to laugh or cry. I’m going to go for laughing!

So…… much……. fun…….. I’m sun burnt. I took a shower but still feel like I am covered in dirt. My legs hurt. My butt hurts. I got home at 5:30 this morning, and had to be to work by 10 (thank you Beth!) My liver hurts. I can’t keep my eyes open. I could sleep for about a month and still be tired. But I am so winning! There isn't much that could get this smile off my face right now. My friends make this world so much better. What I remember of this weekend will be a memory burnt into my brain for the rest of my life. Paradise filled with beautiful people, awesome music, and a whole hell of a lot of fun. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone that made it all fall into place!

was soooooooooo much fun! I was one of the happiest girls in the world yesterday. I got to wonder around with some really awesome people having a great time, all while getting to act and dress like a pirate! It was so much fun!!!!
