Salvete...
My name is Julia Zay and I am a polymath; a trance artist, a dancer, a sketch artist, a Dame, a Mother, a Wife and a friend. I am quite a lot of things, more than I could ever really explain in such a small space. I am an eccentric genius and an innovator; a pattern finder and a puzzle master. I am a devoted Camilla in the Religio Romana. I am the creatrix of the Ecstasia Discipline of the Transcendental Arts and author of, "Ecstasia: A Practical Introduction to Transcendental Music and Dance." I'm a thinker and a dreamer; a warrior and a philosopher. Sometimes I wonder if I am actually three different people who all share a single body. No matter what I seem... I am a force of nature; a Tsunami of emotion. I keep a trance blog that's set to friends only so if you're interested in reading weekly trance tips or reading transcendental tales then just send me a friend request so that you can be included in the fun stuff. :-)

Where Does the Time Go?
(blog entry)
One of the things I enjoy most in the world is having my hands full of the creative process. I don't enjoy deligating creation and to this end I have really been enjoying putting together the Ecstasia website. However it is like writing a mini-boo...

The website went live today after a couple hours of careful tweaking and a phone call to the network service office. *Breathes* Well that's that then. I realize the thing that had been holding me back all these months was the fact that I had some ...

One of the things I enjoy most in the world is having my hands full of the creative process. I don't enjoy deligating creation and to this end I have really been enjoying putting together the Ecstasia website. However it is like writing a mini-book! I finally thought about it long and hard enough and decided the sort of content that I wanted to include on the site. I wanted to take the material beyond one large advertisement and make it into something useful for people who want to trance or j...

The website went live today after a couple hours of careful tweaking and a phone call to the network service office. *Breathes* Well that's that then. I realize the thing that had been holding me back all these months was the fact that I had some Top Secret content on my site that I didn't want published yet. It pained me to take it down in order to make the site presentable but I know that it won't be long before I can put it back up again. I'm most looking forward to the video sneak peak of...

"Best Trance Musician 2008"
May 26, 2008
Creative and wicked clever, Julia never ceases to amaze me. Very open minded with a magic imagination and balance of a realistic ideal. She must see words in pictures and pictures in words with an eloquence and ability to share them all.
Beautiful and graceful, eclectic and wonderfully unique. I'm blessed to know her. May 22, 2008
Julia never fails to surprise me, either with some brilliant and startling new insight or with a multi-layered statement that ties my brain in knots even as my body curls up laughing.
Someone said, "this woman´s brain is on fire", and I for one can testify as to its Promethean qualities. May 18, 2008
I've never seen one dance as beautifully. The beauty of the the dance is the beauty within her projected outward like a beacon set out to guide all of us sinners to sweet salvation. I have never met a kinder more generous sole. If anything negative could ever be said about such a woman let it be that her virtue puts our faults into such sharp contrast as to inspire shame.

Julia R. is a subject matter expert on the subject of trancendental dance and music. Her writing is clear, concise and very provocative. I cannot recommend her work highly enough.
