Having a disability has simplified my life. I spend almost all of my time cozy in bed with my tv, stereo and computer, and live alone in a small house on 70 acres of mainly woodland and meadows [Blue Jay Hill]. The focus of my life has always been in increasing my awareness of both my self and the world. I value integrity and honesty above all, along with tolerance, compassion and understanding. I appreciate and try to encourage confidence, intelligence and creativity in others. Long distance and local friends are fine, but I feel I have the basics of a good life with the exception of a partner to share that with. Given my limitations I have an idyllic life, largely free of the pressures and petty egotism of others.
