I love the rain. I grew up in Aberdeen on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. I watched the rain from my living room window when I was a child. I felt safe and secure inside as I watched the rain come down and down. I still feel this way...washed by the rain. It is as if the water is healing me. I don't think much about cleansing. That is too harsh for me, I like gentleness. But washing is somehow different. Washing is like a blessing. And so I wash my spirit with rain water and I am so thankful that I live in Western Washington. May it be in Beauty.

about me
I am a wise woman herbalist, teacher and green witch. I teach listening and healing with nourishment
My husband, Taddeusz and I, steward a 5 acres farm on Whidbey Island. We have a large organic garden, a permanent garden filled with medicinals herbs, seasonal vegetables, a few native plants and weeds. Wild Rose grow in abundance on our land. Such a blessing. I offer shamanic herbal apprenticeships, classes and one to one teachings here at our farm and lots of classes now around Seattle and Puget Sound. I cook a nourishing whole and wild food lunch for my classes, making everything from scratch, including grinding the flour and often making the cheese. I practice gratitude. I am thankful everyday for the gifts I am given. I am a writer. I wrote a column in The Beltane Papers, Journal of Women's Mysteries for 8 years. I write poetry often related to seasonal wisdom and the plants.
