I am a small town girl with a big city appetite. I love the simplicity of living in a small town but crave the excitement and challenge of living in a city. I think that is why I love living in Vancouver because I can have both. There is so much to see and do in this city, whether it be dinner, art, films, bellydance. On the other hand you have the breathtaking simplicity of the mountains, rainforests streams and rivers; the ultimate balance.
I enjoy a challenge otherwise I get bored. I need to be creative either in writing, filmmaking, dance, design or cooking. I love meeting new people, people like Martina who are genuinely warm, open, kind, loving, funny and goddesslike. I like to challenge myself either artisiticly or physically, which is why I enjoy hiking, biking, kickboxing and swimming. I love and miss my family terribly since they all live back in Ontario. However, my mother is my best friend and we do talk all the time. Distance has not changed how we feel about eachother. Lastly, other than family friends are very important to me. Friendship is the foundation for all relationships.

I can officially say that I am a filmmaker today. I have just received word that I my little film Redemption has been ACCEPTED into the Reel Women International Film Festival in Santa Clarita California. I am just realing. My dreams are actually coming true. You know going after your dreams can be a very scarey thing. Success can be even more daunting than failure. I am about to do something that is pretty out there for even my standards. Ok here goes, most of you probably haven't heard of this new Fox reality show called On The Lot. Well it is being put on by of course Mark Burnett the king of reality shows and none other than Steven Spielberg. I swear this damn script is gonna be the death of me. I finally finished my first draft. Which only took like forever. Now I only have less than two weeks to finish this thing so i can meet the Nov 1st deadline for the IFA scriptwriting competition. Why do i constantly leave things to the last minute. I am the supreme ruler of procrastination...All hail putting things off to the last minute....Gawd I am such a nerd!!!
