I'm looking for stuff to do this next Friday/Saturday. Sunday the 26th I'll be at the DNA for the Deviant Nation event. Anything worthwhile going on, and what about Halloween night proper?

Well I dig my place, can walk to work, etc. But because I don't drive, I'm a little stranded out here where clubs are concerned, which sucks. Not that I'm a huge club kid, but it'd be nice to get down to SF every other week or so. This Friday I move to my new apartment in Berkeley. It's between Ashby and Downtown Berkeley BART, near the Berkeley Bowl organic market and a 20 min walk to my work on Shattuck. It's a largish studio with hardwood floors, a big kitchen, a bath with a clawfoot tub, and a large separate main room with big windows. AAAND it's the bottom unit of a house, not part of an apartment complex. For that, I am thankful.

Well the last few weeks since I've moved back from Italy, I've more or less considered myself single (ex-bf in Italy, we always fight, he can't move here cuz I won't marry him etc.) although I haven't done anything about it. As of today though I'm actually really officially single in a clear-cut carved-in-stone kinda way, which is alternating between being depressing, sad, and somehow relaxing.

I think I'll stay single a good long time. No rebounds for me - too old for that shit.
