I'm a writer by profession, but have alot of interests, including being Marketing Manager for local drama group Second Thoughts. Hello Everyone,
Yes, I am back and apologize for not being here alot in the past few months. First there was all the problems with Tribe constantly crashing and not being able to get on at all. Then I met the love of my life, Jeffrey, moved to Canada, got married, and I am expecting a baby in about 9 weeks or so, a little Libra if I deliver near my due date! So life has been hectic! i am sorry for being so silent for so long, but the gremlins in the Tribe system haven't been letting me login, my health is still on a great rollercoaster ride, and I have been spending alot of time on Facebook, as my friend Eerik is in trouble and that is the only way he can communicate with me safely.

Hello My Friends,
I fell into Glycaemic Shock this weekend, I guess my body just couldn't deal with all the pain anymore, so that's why I' ve been so quiet these past few days. i am still recovering from that particular ordeal so i will probably remain quiet until mid week. And I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who sent me messages of love and goodwill, I will answer them when I can sit at the computer for more than 5 minutes!

From time to time I will post some of my poems. I hope you enjoy them.
In celebration of this time of year here is the poem Lughnasadh. It is part of my collection "An English Year" due to be published soon.
Lughnasadh
The whisper of the summer breeze through the wheat
Sings softly as we walk up the to the hills
The drumbeat echoes in the evenings’ hush
As we steadily walk to play out the Goddesses will
Lughnasadh is the name given to August’s full moon
As we give thanks to Her for the harvest ahead
She has blessed the fields with abundant golden grain
So that we may have flour to bake our bread
We plait sheaves of wheat as we wait for the moon
Just like our Celtic forefathers once did long ago
We laugh and are merry as we count ourselves blessed
That we all are here to feel nature’s endless flow
The music is pure delight as we dance hand in hand
As the full moon rises over the hills in the east
The silvery light shines bright on our faces at last
Like a kiss from the sky to bless our Lughnasadh Feast
