What to say about Belle??? This is my third attempt at writing this, and I just can't ever seem to say what I mean. I think that perhaps it's that there just aren't words for it!

The first time I saw her sitting there across the circle playing a drum, I was instantly smitten by her beauty. I knew that I had to meet her and get to know her. That was before she stood up to dance...oh my...and I thought she was gorgeous simply sitting there playing a doumbek. I have grown to believe that meeting Belle is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life. I truly believe that I have located the One for me. She is it: all I could ever ask for, dream of, or hope to find. We seem to share brainwaves somehow. We think the same thing at the same time. We say the same thing, type the same message, and enjoy the same things. If ever there was a case of "destined to be together" this is it!

Belle is beautiful, genuine, caring, and loads of fun. She is intelligent, knowledgable, well educated, and has well formed opinions. Her brutal honesty commands respect, even when she is talking about things of which she is not proud. Of all of the wonderfull things about Belle that I have found, I think her generosity in love is the one that I hold most sacred. I only hope that I, in return, can be all that she deserves from love in this life!

As I've gotten to know Belle she never stops amazing me. She is one of the most graceful dancer I've met even if she forgets the choreography she always looks good dancing. She is also a great friend. I don't know how many times she has listened to me endlessly obsessing over some inconsequential bit of nonsence and always looks like she's paying attention. Her most annoying habit is keeping me up late at night into the wee hours of the morning so I'm worthless the next day.Though I never try to get her to leave because she is so much fun to hang out with. She never holds a grudge something I need to learn to do. I'm in cahoots with keeping her here in town at what ever cost. So those who wish to take her away from us should just move here and join in the merriment, here of coarse. Layla

Belle is one of those awesome friends who listens to you ramble on until the early morning hours after your boyfriend dumps you, offering sympathetic but honest advice. And then there were all those phone calls... : )

Over the last few years I've watched her grow into a beautiful woman, inside and out and I'm so glad to have her as a friend.

And to those who might wish otherwise (you know who you are), we're keeping her here in KC. Tied up in the basement maybe, but here nonetheless..bwahahaha Oh wait, did I type that?
