Saturday, September 12 6pm advance tickets 8.00 day of show 12.00 The timeless Alwun House celebrates the “fantastic other-worldly” with a festival. “Fete Fantastique” revelers enter banner-festooned gardens where there’s performances, food, song, drink, and fine art mix with fairies, lords, elves, trolls, warlocks, winged beings. Stage Show with frolicking Renaissance, Middle-Eastern and Pagan dancers, features reigning Royal Enchantress (TC). In the “Village Circle,” food court, are venders with “fantasy enhancements” like: faerie wings, talismans, wands, headdresses, face painters and Tarot readings. In the west garden, is the “Enchanted Garden,” featuring ambient harp, henna artistry, poetry and minstrels around the pond. Bring your appetite and imagination for a memorable start of Downtown’s Fall Art Season. The Fete’s open to all fantasy lovers (even closeted): from renaissance, tribal and pagan groups, terrestrials of any origin, and all who believe in other worlds. Proceeds benefit non-profit Alwun House art in community programs.
