the grill goes bling,bling,bling.....

When I walked into Death Guild back in 2006 I had the good fortune to meet Ariellah the dancer at the promotion of her DVD "Gothic Bellydance". Years later I am pleased to admire the dancer, but also know Ariellah the friend.

I had no idea time will go by so fast and I would be able to meet such a lovely, candid, and compassionate person. As a professional dancer, she is not just graceful but also ethic - an attribute that is lacking nowadays everywhere. As a person, I just don't have enough great adjectives to describe her, and God knows words are probably one of the few things I never run out of...

I don't think I will use the neo-cliche "BFF" do describe her, but especially when life gives you a lot of sour moments like I had the "misfortune" to experience this year, it is very refreshing to know somebody like Ariellah will genuinely care for you and keep in touch. I appreciate every single nice gesture and I treasure your friendship in a very high place.

Rarely have I met a person who unites so many wonderful qualities: Ariellah is an extraordinarily charismatic dancer, a brilliant teacher, a fascinating conversation partner, an overwhelmingly kind spirit and an astonishingly beautiful woman. I am so happy I got to meet, study and hang out with her and hope we'll meet again soon.

Wow, two years ago I had the honor of meeting this beautiful gem of a woman at Tribal Fest 06. The years have gone by so fast! To have her on my side has been such a great honor! She’s one of the most influential people in my life and I couldn’t ask for a better friend. Even though we live in different cities she still continues to be a great presence in my life. She is a dear soul with a wonderfully whimsical laugh! She's a true, and genuine person; I couldn’t say it enough how much I love her! She is art, she is poetry, she is music, she is beauty, she is the rose and the thorn all rolled into one. She is my friend. Her love of dance shines like a becon in the blackness beconing you out to dance! when she moves you sit entranced in her web. Ariellah, my friend, may all the happiness in the world be bestowed upon you! your loving and caring will be rewarded and i cant wait to witness it!

What can I say? She is a wonderful, attentive, patient teacher and a stunning performer. She also happens to be a friendly, warm, impassioned, intelligent woman. I feel like I could talk to her for hours. She gives me the impression that she is not afraid to look unflinchingly at the world (with all its horror) and chooses to create beauty, and I admire the Hell out of that. Watching her perform live brought tears to my eyes.
