about me
Bio 1997-2008:
Ben Williams (Bendrix) graduated with a BA (Honors) in Advertising Graphics from Central State University. He studied graphic design, with an emphasis in fine art and computer graphics. Ben has been working in the broadcast/media industry for nine years and using computers for over twenty-eight.

Seven of those years have been spent at JWT (formerly J. Walter Thompson), the oldest and fourth largest advertising agency in the world. From 2001-2005 Ben led the way to innovate digital media production and distribution solutions within this flagship agency. From 2005 - 2007 he pioneered again by helping to usher in offline/online strategies using podcasting, video sharing and social media. On December 13, 2007, Ben was recruited by W+K (Wieden+Kennedy) to freelance on a 6 month groundbreaking Nike campaign in Shanghai, China. The campaign was centered around NBA superstar Kobe Bryant and 400 Chinese youth. It televised as a 6 episode series that aired all over China on CCTV (China Central Television). Ben’s involvement includes site design, architecture and online strategy. Helping to brand Kobe’s likeness in an established video game, create a Kobe Mentu website and draft a Nike+China basketball branded social network. He also singlehandedly produced 90+ of the 200+ videos for the web campaign.

Ben is among the first to independently podcast and publish exclusive video covering events like NAB, Flash Forward and the NBA Basketball Hall of Fame. Ben has been published in the 2nd edition”Secrets of Pocasting” by Bart G. Farkas and in the December 2006 issue ofStudent Filmakers Magazine. He has also been a featured speaker at NAB, the Podcast & New Media Expo, and a live guest speaker on Chuck D’s (Public Enemy) weekly AM radio show on Air America.
