I have a crush on ben, and last night my best freind and i were talking about it.
I said "I don't know why i find him so adorable, he's not my type at all..........
small and skinny."
Emily said "Of course you have a crush on Ben, i have a crush on Ben and i'm freakin gay."
"why is that?" said I.
Em replied " he's just so quietly in your intimate space thats it turns sexual, and then when he's not there, you just kind of miss him in your personal bubble."
This struck me as funny because Ben isn't exactly a quiet man, but somehow it made sense.

As a very wise woman (and myself) once said…Ben is like a burnt marshmallow. He’s all crispy, crunchy, and burnt on the outside, but on the inside he is gooey and creamy and warm and tender. I love the burnt outside, I adore the cream filling, and...are we still talking about marshmallows?
It is good to know that there are other diehard smartasses out there who are tender to the core.
Now that I know you, Ben I just can’t imagine not knowing you! I can’t wait to know more, and it makes me smile to know that I will have the rest of my life to learn it…
…because you will always be a part of my life now that you are in it. I just wouldn’t have it any other way!

Obviously, Costa Rica was unlike any place I'd ever been before. Sure, I'd been to places that had similar features as Costa Rica, like beaches, mountains, hills, forests and the like, but the landscape is definitely unique. I suppose that is true of any foreign land, but as this was my first trip outside of the States, it was definitely something that caught my eye.
