My First Root Canal

Front gums removed, gum tissue grafting, check
Braces, six years, check
Eleven fillings in six weeks, check
Six wisdom teeth removed, check
... and as of today, my first root canal, check
I'm an old pro of the dentist/oral surgeon chair due to bad genes and laziness, so this procedure actually wasn't that bad. Especially since she said i could blast my ipod. It was great! I go back at the end of the month to finish it off and then to my dentist in early February for the crown... and another filling.
Yay Vicodin!

I've had one root canal and it was so much easier than what my imagination told me it'd be like. The only part that hurt was when the novicane shot hit a nerve that bolted pain to the tip of my tongue. That didn't tickle.
SO glad you are going to be w/out pain! Now you can chew FOIL! |

it's called a dental dam, used to keep anything, especially saliva, from getting into the hole they drill. that is not a picture of me.
