I am devoted to searching for what is to be found in the direction of that ever retreating horizon; I am drawn towards the unknown, I see romance in every aspect of life and passion in the realization of my surroundings. I write sonnets and some free verse, work on boats, read addictively, travel, then travel some more, and am at times awed by extraordinary bounty of the seemingly ordinary life that surrounds me. Each moment is a delicious adventure that I wish to languidly savoir and turn seconds into minutes so life reliquishes its normal blur; each breath to be intoxicating just in its being. I want to love, be loved; touch and be touched; have life replace dreams; and dreams replace sorrow. Life is to be lived as though each day I am on vacation. I relax by blue water on white coral under the shade of palm trees; regardless of where I am or what I'm doing. If I really need to escape I'm on my boat charging through heavy weather.
