Betsy is one of those shining smiles you just can't get out of your head. Everywhere she goes she is beaming! She brings so much positive energy where ever she goes. It's hard to talk about Betsy without mentioning hooping. I could sit and watch her hoop for hours upon hours. I remember sitting in her apartment frantically making hoops with what ever money we could scrounge up to take to Interfuse... Keep hooping lady... will love you forever! Love and light...

What do I say about Betsy? Well first, screw unselfish love cuz she is mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding:) I first met Betsy when she was in the hospital, in an incubator. That's when I first saw it, the fight in her. No one was going to keep her inside that thing.The next memory I have is her coming home. I can see it in my head.When Mom got out of the car, she was holding this little girl, dressed carefully in pink with all this dark beautiful hair (that's all I could see!) The next many years were crazy. She would disappear like every day and give me a freakin heart attack!!!!!!!! I thought for sure she had drown in the river-yes I mean EVERY FREAKIN DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember the time I couldn't find her for like 2 hours and here she comes skipping down the street like no big deal. When I asked where she'd been she said, "I went to the store to get some catfood, but they said I had to pay for it." She was so little, she didn't understand that you bought stuff at the store, you don't just go there. The moral of the story is, she noticed a need and wanted to fill it. I remember the coolest squirrel ever (Squeaky?) and how she took it it and cared for it. I also got to be there the day her heart broke because he went out, but didn't come back this time. He was ready to be on his own. I do not know what life would have been like without her. Dull and without so much laughter I suppose. Certainly, I would not have been the mom I am without her to be my first "child". So I owe whatever I learned to make me a good mom, to her being in my life. I thank God for giving her to me:) I always be here cheering for you and bragging about you. LOVES.

Betsy is like a big sister to me. She's one of the sweetest, most kindhearted people that you will ever meet, and on top of that, she is an effing blast to hang out with and you never have to worry about a dull moment with her around. She is open-minded and creative and a amazing artist. She is wise beyond her years and has one of the most logical outlooks on life that you will ever come across. One of the best friends you could ever ask for. Betsy would totally give her last dollar away, simply because she thought someone else needed it more than she did. She taught me how to hoop and she taught me how to be myself and be okay with that. And just to make her a little bit better, she's absolutely gorgeous, too!

Betsy's like a big present with a shiny bow...or maybe a chocolate covered strawberry, easily one of the most beautiful women i have/will ever meet, shes constantly absorbing all that life has to offer so she can live life it to the fullest, intense, spontaneous, giving, powerful wild beautiful Betsy :) thanks for being my friend, ive learned things about myself with you that i didnt think i could or were ok to do. youre appreciation is one of the greatest gifts ive ever recieved, thank you so very much! <3 !!!
