smart, nice, gay, slipping gracelessly into middle age. Mostly interested in music of all sorts - classical, bop, free jazz, indie, experimental, punk, old-timey country - also study traditional Javanese & Ugandan music . I'm a composition student finishing up my dissertation at the U of M, and play multiple instruments & in sundry ensembles. Trying to get an indie band going presently. Avid reader - Dennis Cooper, Gary Indiana, Irvine Welsh (sometimes). I run. I drink. I listen to vinyl and pine for the 20th century. I have nice friends.
