i'm going to build a mini-snowboard park in my back yard, off the side of my house. i'm going to build a deck on the second floor, and use that to build my drop-in ramp against. if i need to, i can build a platform off the deck to about the height of my roof. i'll set up a quarter pipe straight on, and another quarter pipe, slightly angled off to the side (this way i can do rodeo flips and other tricks more like in a half pipe). i should be able to get some pretty damn good height with a drop in about 15 feet high. fortunately, i have a gf who is cool enough not to care that i'm building this monstrasity in the back yard. if she didn't approve, i'd have to bury her in one of my jumps. just sayin'.
