Was able to get up tpo Baker twice this past week both times with a little rain but no wind. Sitting in 104 degree water with the nice cool rain coming down feels great.

Had a great time yesterday at Scenic working with fellow hot springers to clean up the trail to Scenic. Mike was there to let us in and worked with us, there was about 14 of us and after the clean up we soaked for a few hours with NG making lunch. It was a great day and we met a few of the fellow soaker who we only knew from the website.

I try to get to Baker HS up by Baker Lake in Washington at least 1 or twice a month. During the summer I don't go as often because of the excessive use during the day and it's hot so why soak in HOT water. The best times are during the Fall, Spring and Winter. If I do go I try to make it up early in the day before 9 am and soak until noon or later, depends on who shows up. I avoid the night time because then the kids and drunks come and it is not as pleasant.
