I'm a second generation heroe. Taking the mantle of The Black Canary from my mother. She was a member of the Justice Society of America. The other members in the Society made up my extended family outside of mom and my dad Larry Lance who was a detective.

This past year I have switched places with a former student of the Sen Sei's. She has been known as Lady Shiva. The deadliest assassin in the world. I have gone down the path she took. She is now filling my shoes as The Jade Canary. I have become The New Shiva. I have crossed a line I never thought I would.
